Dr Ines Violante is a Sir Henry Wellcome Postdoctoral Fellow working at Imperial College London and University College London. Ines is studying how cognitive deficits can be improved after brain injury. In her work she combines non-invasive brain stimulation and imaging techniques (fMRI and EEG) to understand the effects of brain stimulation on brain dynamics.

Romy Lorenz is a cognitive neuroscientist currently undergoing her PhD at Imperial College London.  Her research interests lies in developing brain-computer interfaces by combining brain imaging techniques (fMRI and EEG) with non-invasive brain stimulation and by applying machine learning methods. Besides her PhD, Romy works in the London group of NeuroTechX – an international neurotechnology network, and as the public engagement curator for AXNS – a curatorial collective interested in the intersection between neuroscience and art.

Tre Azam is Founder and CEO of MyndPlay, a UK based Brain Tech and Media company specialising in combining brainwave technology with interactive video and virtual reality to create immersive mind controlled experiences that entertain, engage and develop the mind. Experienced in Mental Health Technologies, Tre originally developed the platform to be used in EEG brain technology to help people improve emotional intelligence and treat trauma.

Tre recently launched a Tele-health platform that was first commissioned by the NHS, prior to it being commercialised into a consumer product with a charity spin-off bringing free medical care to people all over the world. Earlier experience involves documentary film-making, interactive media, behavioural change, virtual reality and 360 Video Production.

Tre has a passion for ideas and innovation and more importantly commercial application of new technologies with a particular interest in automated platforms, sensor technologies and virtual reality.
